BMW ICOM—a BMW approved dealer OBD-II diagnostic tool for BMW, MINI Cooper and Rolls Royce with ISTA-D, ISTA-P software and other engineering & developing software applications.
BMW ICOM hardware:
The BMW ICOM hardware has been released to third generation, ICOM A, ICOM A2 and ICOM A3.
All BMW ICOM A+B+C systems come with ICOM A, ICOM B and ICOM C emulators.
ICOM A – main adapter with OBD II connector for MOST, KCAN, DCAN
ICOM B – additional adapter for optic line, use USB connection with ICOM A
ICOM C – adapter for old vehicles with round 20-pin connector.
BMW ICOM ISTA-D ISTA-P software:
BMW ICOM software has two formats: internal software HDD and external HDD.
The ISTA/D diagnostic system stands for Integrated Service Technical Application Diagnostic. ISTA/D is used to diagnose BMW all series and models from all systems.
The ISTA/P programming system is an ISPI application and stands for Integrated Service Technical Application/Programming. ISTA/P is used to process all coded, programmed and enable-dependent control modules in BMW Group vehicles.
The BMW ICOM Rheingold ISTA-D ISTA-P diagnostic & programming software comes with engineering software INPA, EDIABAS Tool32, NCS-expert tool, E-sys, Ncs-Dummy etc.
